Happy Spring from Yamhill County! We are enjoying the lengthening of the days as we have a bit more evening light each day.
During our January and February meeting, we took care of our annual housekeeping tasks! Our chapter voted to keep the same officers this year. I am happy to continue on as President with Susie Kreder as Vice President, Helle Ruddenklau as Treasurer, and Eunice Goodrich as Secretary. We will have a new face at State board meetings where one of our newest members, Stefani Evers, will be representing us as a Director.
Otherwise, we have been working on our contributions to Auction, where you will see our members in a different role this year as we woman the pick-a-prize sales. We are greatly looking forward to the return of this event in person!
We were happy to have an application from Dayton FFA for our FFA grant to discuss and award at our March meeting, which will fund the purchase of official dress items for the chapter. We are awaiting our April 11th, 2022 deadline for our Community College Scholarship and hope to have many excellent applications to review. Our next couple meetings will focus on planning this year’s state fair booth.
