Our chapter is busy helping with auction. This year our chapter will be hosting the Heads and Tails game and we have taken the initiative to bring back the Wine Wall! If you have any wine you would like to donate to this fun game, we will be happy to take any bottles we can get! Our chapter continues to chair many positions on auction committee, including Gold Tables and Decorations, in addition to the games. This is a fun time of year, and we are excited to see how successful our 2022 auction will be!
Lane chapter had four members attend the OWA State Convention this February in Boardman. Eastern Oregon chapter did a great job, and we congratulate you on a successful event. Lane County will be hosting the State Convention in 2023 and we have already started brainstorming. We look forward to providing an amazing experience and showing you all that Lane County can offer. Stay tuned for more details as the planning begins.
Our chapter continues to grow and we are at 46 members strong! After auction we will be heading into classrooms to participate in Ag in the Classroom and trying to reach as many students as we can in our county.
Lane chapter has joined forces with Oregon Women in Timber and Lane Families for Farms and Forests for a Q &A session for Lane County Commissioner Candidates. This event is April 9th at Coburg Grange from 10:30-12:30. Our next chapter meeting will be April 14th at 6:00 PM at Olsen Run Winery (32900 Dimond Hill Rd in Harrisburg). We will be finalizing a few auction details and enjoying some great food and beverages while supporting a local business.
