The Linn-Benton Chapter kicked off the fall season with a meeting at the Squeaky Cork, where we welcomed two FFA state officers, Vivian Seaholm and Julie Amos. Our chapter also contributed a basket and a Pendleton blanket to the Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom Fall Harvest Auction.

In November, several members volunteered at the Willamette Ag Show booth. Members also came together to create ornaments for a honey bee-themed Christmas tree for the Pape fundraiser in Tangent. This annual event is coordinated by member Carrie Jackson-Corrado, who organizes the theme and ornaments each year. The previous year’s tree is rotated to the Harrisburg location.

Looking ahead, our chapter is preparing an Easter Dinner-themed oral auction item, featuring a leg of lamb and all the fixings for a perfect holiday meal.
