POLK – Polk County is busy getting ready to host the OWA 2013 Convention, March 7 – 9 at the beach! Plan on coming, you know you deserve a break. We will meet at Salishan, Lincoln City. Find information on pages 10 and 11.
Our 2013 Constitutional Essay Contest question is “How is the Constitution still relevant today?” and priz-es are 1st place $300; 2nd place $200; and 3rd place $100. Please encourage any Polk County high school students to enter by the July 4 deadline. We also are continuing the ads at the local cinema.
