Summer Ag Institute (SAI) was recently honored at the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s Ag Progress Dinner for Excellence in Education. SAI is a week long program that focuses on educating teachers about Oregon Agriculture and how it is applicable in their day to day classroom activity.
Oregon Women for Agriculture is a proud supporter of SAI. Three OWA members, including our President and First Vice President, serve as SAI board members. Many of our members also serve as host families for the teachers.
